Pricing Explained

There are 13 years of practice and technical skill compiled in the vessel you see before your eyes. My art is made with my hands, my whole heart, sometimes sweat, sometimes blood, sometimes tears.

Handmade ceramics take a fair amount of work and materials, and cost accordingly. I spend hours on each and every piece you see. My wares go through a long process to get to their final form. Starting out as a wet lump of clay, they then take their form on the wheel. They are tended to periodically making sure they dry evenly——they go from being trimmed, to being painted/glazed, then bisque fired, then waxed, then glazed, then fired again! I price my pieces as I do to make sure I am not exploiting myself, and I price my art in hopes of setting the tone for my fellow artists to not be exploited by not lowering the market value of a handmade item inn the era of AI and mass production.
